LNS Research recently attended Schneider Electric’s Wonderware Live show in windy Orlando. Around 500 Wonderware customers, partners and distributors participated in the three-day event in Orlando for a fully packed program of updates, new product introductions, and customer success stories. It was also great to see detailed roadmaps for all the main products.

We came away impressed by the progress that Wonderware is making in its platform approach towards industrial software and a little disappointed that a single Schneider Electric software strategy, although planned, still seems some time away. In this note, we will concentrate on all the good things coming out of the Wonderware team and keep on hoping for Schneider synergies.
