Software vendor Sphera announced it acquired Rivo, a provider of Cloud-based Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) management software. LNS Research was briefed on the acquisition by Sphera CEO Paul Marushka and members of the senior leadership team. This transaction supports Sphera’s strategy to grow organically and by acquisition, and is in keeping with the company’s belief that the winners in the EHS software market space will provide Cloud as well as on-premise solutions. The move puts Sphera in a good position to continue staking out a leadership position in a highly competitive market.
