Taking Overall Equipment Effectiveness beyond the Plant Floor

With so much information and so little time, we believe it is important to key in on the most effective and direct metrics rather than trying to interpret data from a multitude of sources. A well-known example of this is Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), which is a comprehensive method of measuring the performance of a particular manufacturing unit. OEE accounts for availability, efficiency, and quality, and its measurement has proven to be greatly beneficial to leading manufacturers.
